El mi\u00e9rcoles 16 de agosto de 2023 en las instalaciones del Instituto Superior Tecnol\u00f3gico de la Econom\u00eda Social, Popular y Solidaria (ISTEPS) se cumpli\u00f3 la inauguraci\u00f3n del I Congreso Internacional de Econom\u00edas Alternativas y Solidarias (CIEAS), evento que se desarrolla de forma conjunta entre el ISTEPS y el Instituto de Investigaciones Transdisciplinarias Ecuador \u2013 Binario. Este encuentro acad\u00e9mico que se extiende hasta el viernes 18 de agosto cuenta con actividades presenciales y virtuales, y tiene como finalidad convertirse en un espacio de intercambio sobre las pr\u00e1cticas, metodolog\u00edas, conocimientos e investigaciones en diferentes ramas de estudio. Los ejes tem\u00e1ticos que se abordan a lo largo de estos tres d\u00edas son: 1.- Cooperativismo, asociatividad comunitaria y territorios en red 2.- Inserci\u00f3n productiva, la importancia de la cadena de valor. 3.- Las finanzas populares y solidarias y el futuro de la inclusi\u00f3n. 4.- Planificaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica y desarrollo sustentable para organizaciones de EPS. 5.- Relaci\u00f3n entre la econom\u00eda popular y solidaria y la econom\u00eda del cuidado; y 6.- El Gobierno de lo Com\u00fan: La Econom\u00eda Pol\u00edtica dentro de las Organizaciones de la EPS. Su an\u00e1lisis se realiza por medio de charlas magistrales, ponencias y mesas tem\u00e1ticas en las que participar\u00e1n de manera activa todos los participantes. Entre las figuras internacionales que forman parte del staff de ponentes destacan el docente uruguayo Ra\u00fal Zibechi, escritor y activista dedicado al trabajo con movimientos sociales en Am\u00e9rica Latina; y el docente y activista mexicano Massimo Modonesi. El congreso se desarrolla en el marco de la celebraci\u00f3n del tercer a\u00f1o de vida institucional del
